Khamerernebty was an ancient Egyptian queen who lived during the 18th Dynasty, around the 15th century BCE. She is known for her association with the pharaoh Akhenaten, who ruled Egypt during the Amarna period. Khamerernebty is believed to have been one of Akhenaten's principal wives, although the exact nature of their relationship is a subject of ongoing debate among Egyptologists.

The name Khamerernebty means "The Two Ladies are satisfied" in ancient Egyptian. This name suggests that she was highly regarded and favored by Akhenaten. She is primarily known from a single artifact, a limestone stela now housed in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. This stela depicts Khamerernebty in a standing position, holding a scepter and ankh, symbols of royal power and life, respectively. The inscription on the stela refers to her as the "Great Royal Wife," further emphasizing her high status within the royal court.

Khamerernebty's life and role during the Amarna period are not well-documented, and much of what is known about her comes from the limited archaeological evidence. Her stela provides valuable insights into her status and the religious practices of the time, particularly the worship of the Aten, the solar disc deity that Akhenaten promoted as the supreme deity.

After Akhenaten's death, the religious policies of the Amarna period were abandoned, and the capital was moved back to Thebes. Khamerernebty's fate during this transition is unknown, and she does not appear to have been mentioned in the records of subsequent pharaohs.
