Keskipakoispumppujen

Keskipakoispumput are centrifugal pumps, a common type of dynamic pump used to move fluids. They operate by converting rotational kinetic energy into hydrodynamic energy of the fluid flow. The process begins with a rotating impeller, typically a vaned disk. As the impeller spins, it draws fluid into its center, known as the eye. The centrifugal force generated by the impeller's rotation then throws the fluid outwards towards the pump casing.

The casing, also called a volute, is designed to collect the fluid discharged from the impeller and guide it towards the pump's outlet or discharge nozzle. The volute's shape gradually increases in cross-sectional area, which helps to slow down the fluid's velocity and convert some of its kinetic energy into pressure energy. This increase in pressure is what drives the fluid through the piping system.

They are employed in applications such as water supply and distribution, irrigation, wastewater treatment, industrial processing, and HVAC systems. Maintenance is generally straightforward, involving checks on seals, bearings, and the impeller.
