Kernfokus
Kernfokus is a concept in business strategy describing the deliberate concentration of an organization’s effort, resources, and capabilities on the most critical activities that define its value proposition. The term combines the German words kern (core) and fokus (focus). In practice, kernfokus involves narrowing scope to core competencies, key customer segments, or essential features, while deprioritizing or divesting non-core activities.
