Keeetals are a fictional species originating from the planet Xylos in the K'tharr system. They are known for their unique bioluminescent skin, which can change color and intensity to communicate emotions and social status. Keeetals possess a slender, elongated build with four dexterous limbs, each ending in three prehensile digits. Their heads are small and triangular, featuring large, multifaceted eyes that grant them exceptional low-light vision.

The Keeetal society is highly communal, with individuals living in interconnected hive-like structures. They are primarily an agrarian species, cultivating luminous fungi and nutrient-rich mosses that thrive in Xylos's dim, subterranean environment. Communication among Keeetals involves a complex interplay of bioluminescent displays, subtle pheromonal signals, and a series of melodic chirps and clicks.

Historically, Keeetals have maintained a peaceful and isolationist stance, rarely engaging with off-world civilizations. Their technology is focused on biological augmentation and sustainable energy, rather than aggressive expansion or defense.
