Kaukasusalue

The Caucasus region, or Kaukasusalue in Finnish, is a geographical and cultural area located at the border of Europe and Asia, between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. It is often divided into three subregions: the North Caucasus, the South Caucasus, and the Caucasus Mountains themselves.

The Caucasus Mountains form a natural boundary between Europe and Asia, with the highest peak, Mount Elbrus, reaching 5,642 meters above sea level.
