Kansas

Kansas, nicknamed the Sunflower State, is a state in the central United States. It is bordered by Nebraska to the north, Missouri to the east, Oklahoma to the south, and Colorado to the west. The state lies in the Great Plains and is known for the Flint Hills and remaining tallgrass prairie. The Missouri River forms much of the eastern border, and the Arkansas River runs through the southern part. The geographic center of the contiguous United States lies near Lebanon, Kansas.
