Kandidong
Kandidong is a small coastal settlement located approximately 12 kilometres southeast of the provincial capital in the eastern part of Sumatra. The village lies within the administrative district of Kepuh in the Tanah Merah Regency, falling under the jurisdiction of Aceh Besar Province. With an estimated population of 3,800 residents as of the 2020 census, Kandidong is characterised by a mix of low‐lying paddy fields, mangrove forests, and a modest fishing harbour.
