Kamuyhusiri is a traditional Ainu shamanistic practice rooted in the spiritual and cultural traditions of the Ainu people, an indigenous group originally inhabiting the northern regions of Japan, including Hokkaido, Sakhalin, and parts of the Russian Far East. The term *kamuyhusiri* combines *kamuy*, meaning "spirit" or "god," and *husiri*, which translates to "shaman" or "medium." This practice involves communication with the spiritual world to heal, guide, and maintain harmony between humans and nature.
