Kalkkivahvit

Kalkkivahvit are a Finnish term referring to whitewashed walls, typically found in older rural houses and traditional buildings. The term "kalkkivahvit" directly translates to "lime whites" or "limewashed walls." This technique involves applying a thin coat of lime wash, a mixture of slaked lime and water, to interior or exterior walls.
