Kaasureleillä

Kaasureleillä, known scientifically as Plectorhinchus caeruleous, is a species of fish belonging to the family Haemulidae. This species is endemic to the waters of the Western Indian Ocean, with its distribution extending from the coast of East Africa to Madagascar and Mauritius. Kaasureleillä are typically found in shallow, rocky reefs and coral formations, often in areas with moderate to strong currents. They are primarily nocturnal feeders, foraging on small invertebrates and crustaceans found on the seabed.

Morphologically, kaasureleillä are characterized by their elongated body shape and a distinctive pattern of blue spots on a lighter background, which gives them their common name. Their fins are usually a dark color, and they possess a prominent lateral line. Juveniles and adults can exhibit some variation in coloration and pattern. These fish are generally solitary, though they may aggregate in small groups during certain periods.
