The actors involved are listed, defining who or what interacts with the system. The main success scenario, or basic flow, outlines the step-by-step interaction between the actor and the system under normal conditions. Additionally, alternative flows describe variations or deviations from the main scenario, including exceptions and error conditions. Preconditions specify the state the system must be in before the use case can begin, and postconditions describe the system's state after the use case has successfully completed.
