Järvilinnuilla

Järvilinnuilla, often translated as "lake birds" or "waterfowl," is a general term in Finnish that encompasses a variety of bird species that inhabit lakes, ponds, wetlands, and other freshwater environments. These birds are adapted to life in and around water, possessing features that aid them in swimming, diving, and foraging for food.

The diversity of järvilinnuilla is considerable, including ducks, geese, swans, divers (loons), grebes, coots, and various wading birds like herons and rails. Their diets vary widely, ranging from aquatic vegetation and seeds to small fish, invertebrates, and insects.
