Jumaat

Jumaat, commonly known as Friday in English, holds significant religious, cultural, and social importance in Islamic traditions. As the seventh day of the week in the Islamic calendar, it is observed as the holy day of the week for Muslims worldwide. The day is particularly sacred because it is believed to be the day when the final revelation of the Quran was completed, as well as the day of judgment in Islamic eschatology.

In Islamic practice, Jumaat is marked by the Jumu'ah prayer, which is one of the five obligatory prayers (Salah) in Islam. This congregational prayer is held in mosques and is led by an imam.
