Jual

Jual is an Indonesian verb that means to sell or to vend. It appears in compounds and phrases related to commerce and is widely used in everyday language as part of transaction-related vocabulary.

Formally, jual is the root verb. The active form is menjual, formed with the prefix me-; in some constructions the verb appears with suffix -kan. Nouns related to the act include penjual (seller) and penjualan (sale). The noun dagangan or barang dagangan is often used for goods offered for sale, while harga jual refers to the selling price.
