Jinli

Jinli is a famous pedestrian street in Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province, China. The street is located in the heart of the city, near the Jinli Temple, a Buddhist temple dating back to the Three Kingdoms Period (220-280 AD). Over 200 historical sites and 400 cultural relics are scattered along the street, showcasing the history of Chengdu.

Jinli is famous for its well-preserved traditional Tibetan-style architecture, with Tibetan-style buildings and majestic flags that appeal to tourists from home and abroad. The street is paved with cobblestones and lined with quaint shops selling local specialties such as Xuanweiyuan tea, ningxia purple sand temple offerings, and Li men Ji Dang Bang wine.

A variety of souvenirs can be found on the street, including traditional Sichuan tea sets and calligraphy brushes made from Hang Fan Sculp banking. Tourists can also enjoy a basket of handmade paint brushes crafted by skilled artisans with Lushan cutting located just outside the street's entrance. Traditional performances such as singing, dancing and opera performances of Sichuan opera takes place on stage of Bamboo restaurant on the street.

Regional long-distance sales vehicles can easily access the top end while loading merchandise to be souvenir displayed in most shops. Jinli Street, with its exceptional charm, attracts tourists and business people alike.
