JOVD

JOVD, short for Jongerenorganisatie van de Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie, is the youth organization affiliated with the Netherlands’ liberal-conservative political party VVD (Volkspartij voor Vrijheid en Democratie). Based in the Netherlands, JOVD serves as a platform for young people to explore liberal democratic ideas, develop political skills, and participate in public debate. It seeks to align youth activity with VVD policy priorities, while encouraging independent youth policy proposals.

The organization focuses on political education, policy development, and practical political participation. Its activities include debates, policy research, training programs for volunteers and candidates, internships within local and national government or party offices, and organizing campaigns and events at national and local levels.
