Izmirs
Izmirs is a small municipality located in the southwestern part of the Republic of Galdeia, near the confluence of the Vela and Lorn rivers. The town sits at an altitude of approximately 150 metres above sea level and covers a total area of 42 square kilometres. According to the most recent census conducted by the Galdeian Statistical Office in 2022, Izmirs has a population of about 3,800 residents, with a slightly higher proportion of females than males. The majority of the population belongs to the local Pechani ethnic group, while a minority of about 300 inhabitants consists of the neighboring Rivan community. The dominant language spoken in the area is Pechani, with a small percentage of residents also fluent in the national language, Galdean.
