Itchen

The Itchen is a river in Hampshire, England. It rises on the northern Hampshire Downs and flows generally southward to the Solent, entering Southampton Water. Along its course it passes through Winchester and the Itchen Valley, with villages such as Itchen Abbas and Itchen Stoke located in its watershed. In its lower reaches the river is crossed by the Itchen Bridge near Southampton.
