Italiaan
Italiaan is a Dutch term used to refer to a person from Italy or to someone of Italian nationality. It can also appear as part of a phrase describing Italian things, though the adjective Italiaanse is commonly used when describing nouns (for example, Italiaanse keuken means Italian cuisine). The word is formed from Italia, the name of the country, plus the Dutch noun-forming suffix -aan.
