Irkens

The Irkens are a fictional alien species from the animated television series Invader Zim. They are a highly militaristic and technologically advanced race originating from the planet Irk. The Irken Empire is characterized by its relentless pursuit of galactic conquest, with a hierarchical society led by the Tallest, who are the two tallest Irkens. Irken society is rigidly structured, with individuals assigned roles based on their perceived usefulness. Those deemed less valuable are often relegated to menial tasks or even extermination.

Irkens are typically depicted as short, bipedal beings with green skin, antennae, and large, dark eyes. They possess a rudimentary understanding of emotions, often prioritizing logic and efficiency above all else. Their technology is highly sophisticated, featuring advanced weaponry, spacecraft, and robotic servants known as SIR units (Standard Issue Recruits). The primary goal of the Irken Empire is to conquer and assimilate other planets into their dominion, often sending out "Invaders" to prepare worlds for their arrival. Despite their advanced technology and ambition, Irkens often suffer from internal inefficiencies and a tendency for their plans to go awry, particularly due to the incompetence of some of their Invaders.
