Injektivitet

Injektivitet is a concept in mathematics, particularly in the field of set theory, that refers to the injective property of a function. A function is said to be injective if every element in its domain maps to a unique element in its range, or equivalently, if no two different elements in the domain map to the same element in the range. In other words, a function is injective if it preserves distinctness; that is, if different inputs always produce different outputs.
