Infrapunalämpökuvaus, often referred to as thermal imaging or thermography, is a technology that captures images based on the infrared radiation emitted by objects. All objects above absolute zero emit infrared radiation, and the intensity and wavelength of this radiation are dependent on the object's temperature. Infrared cameras detect this radiation and convert it into a visual image, where different colors or shades represent different temperature variations.
This technique is non-contact and can be used in various applications. In building inspections, it helps identify
