IndoSlavic
IndoSlavic, sometimes written Indo-Slavic, is a term used in historical and comparative linguistics to describe a hypothesized connection or contact zone between the Indo-Aryan languages of the Indian subcontinent and the Slavic languages of Europe. It is not recognized as a valid genetic subgroup within the widely accepted classification of the Indo-European languages.
Most scholars regard Indo-Slavic as an areal or typological concept rather than evidence of a single common
Historical discussion of Indo-Slavic appeared in early comparative work and in some 19th and 20th century theories
