Implicitere

When someone uses impliciture, they expect the listener or reader to fill in the gaps and understand the intended message without it being spelled out. Examples of impliciture can be found in everyday conversation. If someone asks, "Is it cold in here?" and the listener closes a window, the listener has understood the implicit request to shut the window, even though it was not explicitly stated. In literature, authors often use impliciture to create suspense or to allow readers to draw their own conclusions about characters and events.
