Impedanssikytkentä is a Finnish term that translates to "impedance matching" in English. It refers to the practice of connecting electrical loads to sources in a way that maximizes the power transfer between them or minimizes signal reflection. This is achieved by ensuring that the impedance of the source is equal to the complex conjugate of the impedance of the load. In simpler terms, the electrical "resistance" to the flow of alternating current in the source should be matched to that of the load.
