Impedansnätverk

Impedansnätverk, often translated as impedance network, refers to an electrical circuit composed of components that exhibit impedance. Impedance is a measure of the opposition to alternating current (AC) flow in an electrical circuit. It is a complex quantity that includes both resistance and reactance. Resistance is the opposition to current flow that dissipates energy as heat, while reactance is the opposition to current flow that stores and releases energy in electric or magnetic fields.

In an impedance network, these components, typically resistors, capacitors, and inductors, are interconnected in various configurations. The overall impedance of the network depends on the individual impedances of its components and how they are arranged. Capacitors introduce capacitive reactance, which is inversely proportional to frequency, while inductors introduce inductive reactance, which is directly proportional to frequency.
