Immaterialseid

In English-language discussion the more common term is immaterial being or immaterial entity, while immaterialseid appears primarily in Scandinavian writings as a direct calque.

Critics challenge the coherence of immateriality, particularly the problem of interaction: how can an immaterial entity influence material objects? Empirical skepticism, arguments from neuroscience, and physicalist explanations of consciousness are cited in debates about the plausibility of immaterial beings.
