Imaan
Imaan (Arabic: إيمان) is a term in Islam that denotes faith or belief. It refers to inward conviction in the core truths of Islam, as distinct from Islam, which signifies outward submission and practice. In many Islamic traditions, Imaan encompasses belief in six foundational articles: belief in God (Tawhid), His angels, His books, His messengers, the Day of Judgment, and divine decree (predestination).
