IllinoisNCSA, officially the National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, is a research center devoted to advancing high-performance computing, data science, and cyberinfrastructure. Located at UIUC, it provides computing resources, software tools, and technical expertise to researchers across science and engineering, as well as national outreach programs.

Founded in 1986, IllinoisNCSA grew to prominence as a leading institution for supercomputing. It fostered the development of early web technologies through the Mosaic browser, released in the 1990s, which helped popularize the World Wide Web.
