Identifikuesit is the Albanian term for identifiers, referring to elements that uniquely identify an entity within a system, dataset, or discourse. Identifiers enable precise reference, disambiguation, and data linkage, and they are used across computing, information management, and linguistics.

In computing and software, identifiers are names that refer to objects such as variables, functions, types, modules, files, or user accounts. They must be valid within a language’s syntax, typically unique within a scope or namespace, and are often case-sensitive. Some identifiers are reserved words that cannot be used for naming. Good practices include choosing meaningful, stable, and locally unique names, and avoiding names that reveal sensitive information.

In databases and data modeling, identifiers serve as keys that uniquely distinguish records. Primary keys guarantee row-level uniqueness within a table, while foreign keys establish relationships between tables.
