ITZY

ITZY is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment in 2019. The group consists of Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. They are known for a bold, confident image and energetic performances, often centered on themes of self-empowerment and individuality.

ITZY debuted on February 12, 2019 with the single DALLA DALLA, which established their signature blend of pop with hip-hop influences and a message of self-worth. Their first extended play, IT'z ICY, was released in July 2019 and features the title track ICY.

Through 2020 and 2021, ITZY released additional music including the mini-album Not Shy (with the lead track Not Shy), followed by Guess Who (2021) featuring the lead track Mafia in the Morning. In 2022 they released the mini-album Checkmate with the single Sneakers, expanding their chart presence and international reach.

ITZY has achieved notable chart success in Korea and internationally, earning music-show wins and a growing global fanbase. Their performances are noted for precision choreography and sharp visuals, contributing to the visibility of girl groups in contemporary K-pop.
