ISMSn

ISMSn is a term used to describe an Information Security Management System tailored for network-centric environments. It extends traditional ISMS concepts to address network-level governance, monitoring, and resilience across on-premises, cloud, and IoT devices.

The objective of ISMSn is to protect information assets by establishing a risk-based framework for policy development, asset management, access control, incident response, business continuity, and supplier security across complex networks. Standards and certification: ISMSn supports alignment with ISO/IEC 27001 and related controls (27002) and may integrate privacy and cloud guidance (27701, 27018). Organizations may pursue formal ISO/IEC 27001 certification for their ISMSn implementation, subject to independent audits by accredited bodies.
