ISDB is a broadcast television standard that integrates digital audio, video, and data services into a single transmission. The architecture of ISDB is characterized by its modularity and flexibility, allowing for a wide range of applications and services.

Key components of ISDB architectures typically include the broadcast transmitter, the receiving equipment (set-top boxes or integrated televisions), and the content delivery network. The broadcast side involves the encoding and multiplexing of various program streams and data services.
