IPX7

IPX7 is an ingress protection rating defined by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) in IEC 60529. The “X” indicates that the rating does not specify protection against solids (dust). IPX7 specifically addresses protection against water ingress during immersion.

corrosion,
or
aging
can
compromise
protection.
Submersion
in
liquids
other
than
fresh
water
may
also
affect
performance
unless
specifically
tested
and
rated.
