Hüvelykes is a Hungarian term used to refer to measurements expressed in inches, the unit of length in the imperial system. In Hungarian usage, hüvelyk denotes one inch, and hüvelykes serves as an attributive or adjectival form meaning inch-sized or measured in inches. The term appears primarily in technical, industrial, and consumer contexts where international standards prevail or where products are manufactured with inch-based specifications.
