Hönäels

Hönäels is a relatively unknown but fascinating species of nocturnal avian found exclusively in the dense, high-altitude cloud forests of the fictitious continent of Eldoria. These birds are characterized by their iridescent plumage, which shifts through a spectrum of deep blues and greens, and their unusually large, luminous eyes, adapted for navigating the perpetual twilight of their habitat.

The diet of Hönäels consists primarily of bioluminescent insects and small arboreal amphibians. They possess a unique vocalization, a series of soft, resonant clicks and whistles, believed to be used for communication within their species and possibly for echolocation in the thick fog.
