Hyrinmarus

Hyrinmarus is a genus of extinct marine reptiles belonging to the plesiosaur order. These creatures inhabited the oceans during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 80 to 75 million years ago. Fossil evidence suggests that Hyrinmarus species were relatively small to medium-sized plesiosaurs, distinguished by certain anatomical features of their skulls and vertebrae.

The genus was first described based on discoveries made in what is now Europe. Hyrinmarus possessed a typical plesiosaur body plan, characterized by a long neck, a broad torso, and four paddle-like limbs adapted for aquatic locomotion.
