Hypokloroosihappoa is the Finnish name for hypochlorous acid, a chemical compound with the formula HClO. It is a weak acid, and in aqueous solution, it exists in equilibrium with its conjugate base, the hypochlorite ion (ClO⁻). Hypochlorous acid is a strong oxidizing agent and is known for its potent antimicrobial properties.

It is naturally produced by white blood cells in humans as part of the immune response to fight infection.
