Hydrostatikprüfung, also known as hydrostatic testing, is a method used to test the integrity and strength of vessels and piping systems that are designed to hold liquids or gases. The process involves filling the system with a liquid, typically water, and then pressurizing it to a specific level, usually above its normal operating pressure. This elevated pressure is maintained for a set period, during which the system is carefully monitored for any signs of leakage, deformation, or failure.
