Himalayazout, commonly known as Himalayan salt, is a rock salt harvested from ancient evaporated seas in the Himalayan region of Pakistan. It is predominantly mined from the Khewra Salt Mine in Punjab, one of the world’s largest salt deposits. After extraction, the rock salt is cleaned and may be washed, then dried.
