HeparinPF4
HeparinPF4 refers to the complex formed between heparin, a commonly used anticoagulant medication, and platelet factor 4 (PF4), a protein released by activated platelets. Under normal circumstances, this interaction is benign. However, in a specific and serious condition known as Heparin-Induced Thrombocytopenia (HIT), antibodies can develop against this heparin-PF4 complex.
