Heißklebepasten, often referred to as hot melt adhesives, are thermoplastic materials that liquefy when heated and solidify upon cooling. This process allows them to form a strong bond between various surfaces. They are typically supplied in solid form, commonly as sticks or granules, and are applied using a hot glue gun or specialized industrial dispensing equipment. The principle of operation involves melting the solid adhesive to a liquid state, which is then applied to one or both surfaces to be joined. As the molten adhesive cools, it hardens and creates a physical bond.
