The history of Hanzimarkings can be traced back to the post-World War I era, when artists and designers sought to break away from the traditional art nouveau and art deco styles. Hans Rinn, a German artist, is often credited with developing this style, which he first showcased in the 1920s. However, it was not until the 1930s that Hanzimarkings gained widespread recognition.
