Grodus

Grodus is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. He is primarily known as an enemy of the superhero Superman. Grodus was created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, first appearing in Action Comics #30, in 1940. His origins vary slightly depending on the iteration of the character, but he is generally depicted as an alien being possessing advanced technology and superior intellect.

In his early appearances, Grodus was a criminal mastermind from the planet Krypton, much like Superman's archenemy, Lex Luthor.
