Griddet
Griddet is a term used in discussions of grid-based data representation to denote a family of encoding schemes that partition two-dimensional data into discrete cells on a regular grid and annotate each cell with a compact set of detail descriptors. The coinage combines "grid" and "detail" and appears mainly in speculative, experimental, or research contexts rather than in official standards.
In a griddet model, data are organized into a two-dimensional array of cells. Each cell contains a

Usage and status: Griddet remains primarily a conceptual framework found in academic discussions and prototype software.
