Glijrail

Glijrail, often translated as sliding rail, is a mechanical component that provides guided linear motion for a moving part by allowing it to slide along a fixed rail. It is used in a variety of applications where controlled, straight-line movement is required, such as in furniture hardware, cabinetry, and certain types of industrial equipment.

A glijrail typically consists of a rail made from steel, stainless steel, or aluminum and a mating slider or carriage that moves along the rail.
