Ginobili

Manu Ginóbili is an Argentine retired professional basketball player. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest international players in NBA history. Ginóbili played 16 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the San Antonio Spurs, from 2002 to 2018.

Born in Bahía Blanca, Argentina, Ginóbili began his professional career in Argentina and Italy before being drafted by the Spurs in 1999. He joined the NBA in 2002 and quickly became a key member of the Spurs' rotation. Known for his unconventional playing style, he was a master of creativity, often utilizing his signature Eurostep dribble and clutch shot-making.

During his NBA career, Ginóbili won four NBA championships with the Spurs (2003, 2005, 2007, 2014). He was a two-time NBA All-Star and the NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2008. He retired from the NBA in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of fierce competitiveness, remarkable skill, and a unique flair.

Beyond the NBA, Ginóbili was a pivotal figure for the Argentine national basketball team. He was a core member of the "Golden Generation" that won the gold medal at the 2004 Athens Olympics, a historic achievement for Argentine sports. He also led Argentina to a bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and a silver medal at the 2002 FIBA World Championship. In 2022, Ginóbili was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, cementing his place among the sport's legends.
