Gewindewürfelformen, also known as threading dies or die nuts, are specialized tools used in metalworking and machining to create external threads on cylindrical workpieces. They are typically made of hardened steel and feature internal cutting edges that form the helical grooves of a screw thread. These tools are often designed in a block or cube shape, hence the term "Würfelformen" (die shapes).
