Gelimateriaali, often translated as gel material, refers to a broad class of substances that exhibit properties of both solids and liquids. These materials consist of a solid network structure that traps a liquid component within its interstitial spaces. The resulting material is typically soft, flexible, and can hold its shape to a degree, yet it can also flow slowly under certain conditions, much like a very viscous liquid.
