Gekirangers

Tokumei Sentai Gekiranger is the eleventh installment of the Super Sentai series, airing from February 18, 2007, to February 10, 2008. The story follows three siblings, Retsu, Midori, and Kai, who are trained by the enigmatic Master Xia Fu in the art of Gekijuken, a martial art that harnesses inner fighting spirit. They become the Gekirangers, a team of superheroes tasked with protecting the world from the evil organization known as the Rin Jyu, led by Long.

The Rin Jyu are a group of beastmen who seek to unleash their corrupting "Rin Jyu" power upon humanity. Each Gekiranger embodies a specific animal style of Gekijuken: Retsu is the Cheetah, Midori is the Jaguar, and Kai is the Tiger. They are later joined by Gou, Retsu's older brother and a master of the Fist A-la-mode style, who becomes the additional ranger Gekisharp. Finally, the mysterious Jan, a human raised by apes, joins as the final ranger, Gekired, mastering the Nunchaku-based style.

Throughout the series, the Gekirangers learn to control their fighting spirits, which manifest as various powers and mecha. They face numerous Rin Jyu generals and their legions, each with unique abilities. The narrative explores themes of discipline, self-discovery, and the balance between inner power and external threats. The series emphasizes hand-to-hand combat and the development of the Rangers' personal strengths.
